20x20 Trade Show Booth Rental in Orlando

A 400-square-foot 20x20 rental gives your team room for a branded island, peninsula or corner experience with clearer visitor flow, meetings and product demonstration zones.

A 20x20 is 400 square feet, about 37.2 square metres, and it is the footprint where exhibiting stops being a matter of decorating a back wall and starts being a matter of designing a space. You are usually on a corner, a peninsula or an island, which means you are open on two, three or four sides, and every one of those sides is a front.

Nordic Precision Exhibits rents 20x20 exhibits in Orlando as a turnkey package: designed here, fabricated in our own 30,000 square foot Orlando facility, graphics printed in-house, delivered to the Orange County Convention Center or any Central Florida venue, installed before you arrive and dismantled after you leave.

What actually fits in a 20x20

The honest answer is: more than people expect, and less than they plan. Four hundred square feet is generous until you draw a meeting room in it.

A well-used 20x20 typically carries a closed or semi-private meeting area of roughly 8x10, a demonstration or product zone along the most-trafficked aisle, a reception or lead-capture counter at the corner where most people enter, a lockable storage closet of about 5x5, and enough clear floor that two conversations can happen at once without either group feeling crowded. Overhead, you have the height to hang signage, which at this size is the difference between being found from across the hall and being found when someone is already standing in front of you.

What does not fit comfortably is all of that plus a seated presentation theatre. If a scheduled presentation is central to your show plan, the footprint to look at is a 20x30.

Island, peninsula or corner — they are not the same booth

A 20x20 can be sold to you as three quite different spaces and the design has to follow which one you have.

An island is open on all four sides with aisles all round. Nothing can be hidden, every elevation is seen, and the structure usually moves upward — a central tower, overhead signage, LED Totems — because the only private space you have is the space you build.

A peninsula is open on three sides with one neighbour behind. That back wall becomes valuable: it is the one surface that can carry a large uninterrupted graphic and conceal storage.

A corner configuration is open on two adjacent sides, and the design problem is the diagonal — the sightline from the aisle intersection, which is where most of your traffic will first see you.

Tell us which you have been assigned and the layout is drawn to it. If you do not know yet, we will draw to the likeliest and adjust when the floor plan is confirmed.

What a 20x20 rental costs in Orlando

A 20x20 rental is quoted rather than listed, because the number moves with the build. What moves it: how much of the structure is bespoke rather than reconfigurable system, the graphic area, whether you are hanging a sign, the flooring and furniture specification, whether LED Totems or screens are included, and your show's own labour and drayage rules.

What we will do is give you a written, itemised quotation and a free 3D rendering before you are asked to commit to anything, so you can see precisely which line is driving the cost and change it if you want to.

20x20 at the Orange County Convention Center

The OCCC is the second-largest convention centre in the United States, around 2.1 million square feet of exhibition space across the West Building and the North/South Building, at 9860 Universal Blvd. At 400 square feet you are usually past the point where a booth can be carried in by hand, which means your freight goes through drayage and your install goes on a schedule. We handle both. Because our shop is in Orlando, the structure has a short road journey rather than a cross-country one, and a missing part is a van trip rather than a crisis.

Exhibiting from Europe in a 20x20

A 20x20 is roughly 37 square metres, which for most European exhibitors is a mid-size stand rather than a large one — worth knowing, because US shows sell space on a 10-foot grid and the conversion catches people out. Renting the structure here rather than shipping one from Europe means no ocean freight on the stand, no carnet for the structure, US 110V electrics built in from the start, and graphics that can be reprinted overnight in the same city.

Frequently asked questions

How big is a 20x20 booth in square metres?

A 20x20 booth is 400 square feet, which is approximately 37.2 square metres.

Can I have a private meeting room in a 20x20?

Yes. A closed or semi-private meeting area of roughly 8x10 fits comfortably in a 20x20 alongside a demo zone, a reception counter and lockable storage.

Is a hanging sign allowed on a 20x20?

It depends on the show and on your booth type. Hanging signage is commonly permitted for island and peninsula configurations and commonly restricted for inline booths. We confirm the rule for your specific show before the design is finalised, and we handle the rigging coordination.

Do you install and dismantle the booth?

Yes. Every rental is turnkey. Our own crew handles delivery, installation, show-floor support and dismantle at the Orange County Convention Center and other Central Florida venues.

Can I rent a 20x20 for one show and a different size for the next?

Yes. That flexibility is the main reason companies rent rather than buy, and we store between shows.

How far in advance should I book a 20x20 in Orlando?

The sooner the better, and the industry standard planning window for a designed rental of this size is measured in months rather than weeks. Late bookings are often still possible — ask, because the answer depends on the show date.
