Custom Trade Show Exhibits in Orlando

Custom trade show exhibits designed, fabricated, printed and installed by one Orlando team for companies that need a stand built around their product and goals.

Most of the companies selling custom trade show exhibits in Orlando are not in Orlando. They sell here, design somewhere else, build in a third city, and truck the finished booth in. It usually works. But when it does not — when a panel arrives damaged, when a graphic is wrong, when a client changes a product two weeks before the show — the distance between the problem and the people who can fix it is measured in states.

Nordic Precision Exhibits is built the other way round. We design, fabricate and print in a 30,000 square foot facility in Orlando, thirteen minutes from the Orange County Convention Center. Your exhibit is welded, built, painted and wrapped in that building, and the people who built it are the people who install it on the show floor. If something has to change on the Tuesday before a Wednesday opening, it changes, because the shop is a short drive from the hall.

Behind this brand is Exhibit Experience, Inc., which has been building trade show exhibits for twenty-five years and runs two 30,000 square foot facilities — one here in Orlando and one in Las Vegas. Nordic Precision Exhibits is the part of that business built specifically for exhibitors who want a custom stand made in the United States, with particular attention to European companies exhibiting here for the first time.

What a custom exhibit gets you that a rental cannot

A rental exhibit is an excellent answer to a great many briefs, and we rent a lot of them. But there are things a rental cannot do, and they are usually the things that matter to a company whose product is the reason people stop walking.

A custom exhibit is designed around your product, not adapted to it. If your machine is two metres tall and needs a three-phase drop and a clear sightline from the aisle, the structure is drawn around that machine. If your demonstration needs six people seated and a screen nobody has to crane their neck to see, the floor plan starts from those six chairs. Shelving depths, counter heights, cable runs, lighting angles, the height at which your logo sits relative to the neighbouring stands — all of it is a decision rather than a compromise.

It is also yours. A custom exhibit is an asset you own, store and reconfigure across a season of shows, and we store it between them so it is not taking up space in your own warehouse.

How we build a custom exhibit in Orlando

Design and free 3D rendering. Every project starts with a conversation about what the booth has to achieve, not about what it should look like. You then get a 3D rendering before you commit to anything, at no cost. You will see the stand from the aisle, from inside, and from the angle an attendee first sees it — and you can change it while changing it is free.

Engineering. The rendering becomes a set of drawings: structural, electrical, rigging and graphic. This is the stage where the venue's rules stop being someone else's problem. Hanging sign heights, rigging points, weight limits, fire-retardancy on fabrics and the height restrictions that apply to your specific booth type at the Orange County Convention Center are settled here, on paper, months before anything is lifted.

Fabrication in our own shop. Metalwork, carpentry, paint and assembly all happen in the Orlando facility. Nothing is subcontracted to a builder we have never met. The booth is fully built in the shop and inspected standing up, exactly as it will stand on the show floor, before it is broken down and crated.

Graphics printed in-house. Large-format printing is done through Factory of Graphics, our own print operation. Fabric, rigid panel, backlit, floor vinyl, hanging banners. Because the printer and the shop are the same company, a colour problem is a phone call and not a claim.

Turnkey installation and dismantle. Our own crew handles freight, drayage coordination, installation, show-floor support and dismantle. You arrive at a finished stand. You leave when the show closes and we take it down.

Custom exhibits, displays and LED Totems

“Custom” covers a wide range of budgets, and it is worth being plain about what sits where.

  • Custom inline exhibits for 10x10 and 10x20 spaces — a purpose-built back wall, integrated storage and product display, rather than a pop-up that looks like everyone else's pop-up.
  • Custom island exhibits from 20x20 upward, open on multiple sides, with meeting rooms, demo areas, overhead structure and hanging signage.
  • Double-deck exhibits where floor space is tight and the budget for square footage is tighter than the need for private meeting space.
  • LED Totems — freestanding high-resolution LED columns that carry motion content and are reconfigurable between shows. These have quietly become the single most requested addition to a custom build, because they do the work of a large graphic while still being changeable the night before.
  • Custom trade show displays in the lighter sense — banner systems, counters, tension-fabric structures — for roadshows and smaller regional events between the big Orlando shows.

Built in Orlando, for Orlando shows

The Orange County Convention Center is the second-largest convention centre in the United States, with roughly 2.1 million square feet of exhibition space across the West Building and the North/South Building. It is a venue where the difference between a good install and a bad one is measured in hours on a dock.

We also build for Gaylord Palms, the Rosen properties, Hyatt Regency Orlando, the Caribe Royale, and venues across Kissimmee and Lake Buena Vista. Because the shop is local, the same crew that built your stand is on the floor when it goes up, and the shop is reachable during move-in.

If you are exhibiting from outside the United States

Building your stand in Orlando rather than shipping it from Europe removes the single largest source of cost and risk in a US exhibition programme. There is no ocean freight on a completed stand, no customs entry for the structure, no carnet, and no possibility of your build arriving after your move-in window has closed. Your electrics are built to US 110V from the start rather than adapted on the floor. Your graphics are printed here, so a reprint is a day and not a week.

We work in feet and in square metres, and we quote in both, because a stand described only in feet to a team in Stockholm or Munich is a stand nobody can picture.

What it costs

A custom exhibit is quoted, not listed, because the structure follows the brief. What we can tell you plainly is what moves the number: the footprint, whether the build is single or double deck, how much of the structure is bespoke metalwork versus reconfigurable system, the graphic area, and whether you want the exhibit stored and reused or built for one show. A 3D rendering and a written quotation cost you nothing, and you will get both before you are asked for anything.

Frequently asked questions

How long does a custom trade show exhibit take to build?

Design through to a finished stand is typically a matter of months rather than weeks, and the industry standard planning window for a fully custom build is three to four months before move-in. Shorter timelines are often possible, particularly where part of the structure is drawn from reconfigurable system components. The honest answer for your show depends on the booth and the date, and we will give you a real date before you commit.

Do you build custom exhibits for shows outside Orlando?

Yes. The exhibit is built in Orlando and shipped to any show in the United States. We also operate a second 30,000 square foot facility in Las Vegas, which covers shows at the Las Vegas Convention Center, Mandalay Bay, Venetian Expo, Caesars Forum and Wynn.

Can I see the booth before it is built?

Yes, and at no cost. Every project includes a free 3D rendering before you commit.

Do you handle installation and dismantle?

Yes. Every custom build is turnkey. Our own crew handles freight coordination, drayage, installation, show-floor support and dismantle at the Orange County Convention Center and other Central Florida venues.

Can a custom exhibit be reused at the next show?

That is normally the point of owning one. We store the exhibit between shows in our Orlando facility and reconfigure it for different footprints as your show schedule changes.

Do you work with European companies exhibiting in the United States?

Yes, and it is a large part of what this brand does. Building in Orlando removes ocean freight, customs entry and carnet paperwork for the structure itself, and the stand is built to US electrical standards from the start.
