10x10 trade show exhibit rental Orlando Florida Orange County Convention Center by Nordic Precision Exhibits

The Orange County Convention Center is the second-largest convention facility in the United States, and exhibiting there is a logistics problem before it is a design problem. Nordic Precision Exhibits rents and builds booths for OCCC shows from a 30,000 square foot facility in Orlando, which means your exhibit is already in the city before the show floor opens.

The scale is worth understanding before you plan a booth. The OCCC carries roughly 7 million total square feet, of which 2,053,820 square feet is exhibit space. The West Building holds 1,103,538 square feet of that exhibit space and the North-South Building holds 950,282 square feet. There are 74 meeting rooms, 232 breakout rooms, 174 loading dock slips and 6,227 parking spaces. The Valencia Ballroom alone is 62,182 square feet and the Linda W. Chapin Theater seats 2,643.

West Building or North-South Building — it changes your booth plan

Exhibitors often treat the OCCC as one venue. Operationally it is two, connected across International Drive, and which building your show occupies changes your schedule.

The West Building is the larger exhibit hall and hosts the biggest shows on the Orlando calendar. Halls are deep, aisles are long, and overhead identity matters enormously — from the middle of a West Building hall, a booth without a hanging sign or a vertical element is invisible from more than about forty feet. The North-South Building runs a tighter floor with different dock access and different move-in sequencing, and booths there tend to reward perimeter design and strong corner presence over sheer height.

We plan for the specific hall you are assigned, not for a generic floor. Rigging points, ceiling heights, dock timing and the show's own move-in order are all confirmed before fabrication is scheduled.

OCCC booth rental sizes

We build every standard footprint used at the Orange County Convention Center as a rental: 10x10 and 10x20 inlines, and 20x20, 20x30, 30x30 and 30x40 islands. Larger custom footprints and double-deck structures are available where the show's height and rigging rules permit. Each is quoted turnkey — structure, custom graphics, flooring, lighting, furniture, delivery, installation and dismantle in one number.

What OCCC exhibitors have to plan for

Drayage and material handling. Every crate that arrives at the OCCC is handled by the show's general contractor and billed by weight. Exhibits that ship in from out of state pay this twice, in and out, on freight that travelled a long way to get here. A booth stored and built in Orlando arrives on a local truck with a shorter, lighter chain of handling.

Installation and dismantle labour. Orlando's labour arrangements differ from those in Chicago or Las Vegas, and they differ again by hall and by show. We co-ordinate with the general contractor on your behalf and include supervised I&D in the quote so you are not negotiating crew hours on the show floor.

Electrical. US show power is 110-120V at 60Hz, ordered through the venue's electrical contractor and dropped to a specified location under your booth. That location has to be decided at design stage, because moving a floor drop after carpet is down is expensive and slow.

Hanging signs and rigging. Overhead structure at the OCCC needs approval, a rigging order and engineering drawings, all submitted well ahead of the show. We produce the drawings and file them as part of the build.

Fire marshal and aisle rules. Enclosed spaces, ceilings over booths, and storage areas all carry rules that vary by show. These are resolved in the design phase, not on move-in day.

Shows at the Orange County Convention Center

The OCCC hosts one of the densest show calendars in North America across attractions, healthcare, technology, hospitality, foodservice and education. IAAPA Expo 2026, the largest trade show in the global attractions industry, runs November 16-20, 2026 at the Orange County Convention Center, with the show floor open November 17-20. Exhibitors planning an IAAPA booth should have design locked well before the autumn, because Orlando fabrication capacity tightens across October and November.

Why a local Orlando shop matters at the OCCC

Backed by Exhibit Experience and twenty-five years of exhibit building, Nordic Precision Exhibits fabricates in Orlando and prints large-format graphics in-house through Factory of Graphics. During OCCC show weeks that produces a practical advantage that is hard to overstate: a damaged panel is remade the same day, a last-minute graphic change is printed and installed overnight, and a part that went missing in transit is replaced from the shop rather than air-freighted from another state.

Exhibitors also get a second US city from the same partner. Exhibit Experience runs a 30,000 square foot facility in Las Vegas as well as Orlando, so a show schedule that runs through both cities is handled by one team with one set of drawings.

Frequently asked questions about OCCC booth rentals

How much exhibit space does the Orange County Convention Center have?
2,053,820 square feet of exhibit space in total — 1,103,538 square feet in the West Building and 950,282 square feet in the North-South Building, within roughly 7 million total square feet of facility.

Do you deliver and install at the OCCC?
Yes. Delivery, supervised installation and dismantle are included in every turnkey quote, co-ordinated with the show's general contractor and the labour rules for your hall.

Can I rent a booth for an OCCC show at short notice?
Frequently, yes, because we fabricate in Orlando rather than shipping in. Send the show, the booth number and the footprint and we will tell you honestly what is achievable in the time available.

Do you handle hanging signs and rigging at the OCCC?
Yes, including the engineering drawings and the rigging order, submitted ahead of the show's deadline.

Are you a general contractor for the show?
No. We are your exhibit builder. We work alongside whichever general contractor the show organiser has appointed, and we handle the paperwork that sits between you and them.
