The Global Produce & Floral Show

Island Exhibits for the Global Produce & Floral Show — 20x20 and Larger

There is a real difference between having a booth at this show and having presence on that floor. With more than 1,000 exhibitors competing for the attention of more than 20,000 attendees across two expo days, the exhibitors who get remembered are the ones whose space you can find from three aisles away.

That is what an island exhibit does. We build them.

Why island space wins at this show specifically

A purposeful buyer floor needs a space that is immediately legible.

The produce and floral floor is not a floor where people browse politely down every row. Buyers are moving with purpose, working a list, and making decisions about category partners in a two-day window.

Four open sides changes your economics

Approach from any direction

No dead corner. No fighting a neighbor's backwall for sightline.

Vertical rights

Island space is where hanging signs live. A sign at ceiling height is the most effective wayfinding tool in a hall this size.

Room for the actual product

Produce and floral exhibitors are not showing brochures. They are showing fresh product, packaging systems, and cold chain equipment.

A place to have the conversation

A meeting corner or semi-private area is where the deal actually gets discussed. Inline exhibits rarely have room for it.

Designed for the floor you actually have

We pull your position off the IFPA floor plan and design to your real sightlines and real neighbors — not a generic render.

The sizes we build

Large-footprint exhibits built around product, traffic, and meeting space.

20x20 — the entry point to island space

Four hundred square feet, four open sides, and enough height allowance for a hanging sign. Typical layout: open corners for approach, a central product feature or demo counter, storage worked into a counter or tower, and a hanging sign carrying the brand above it all.

20x30 and 20x40 — depth for programs

The extra depth buys you zones: front-of-exhibit product display facing traffic, a demo or tasting area mid-exhibit, and a back zone for private conversation and storage. For exhibitors doing live merchandising or sampling, this is where the exhibit stops working against you.

30x30, 30x40 and 40x40 — category leader footprints

Now you are building architecture: multiple product zones, real seating, integrated LED or large-format graphics, dedicated meeting rooms, and structures that read as permanent rather than temporary.

Double decks and two-story structures

Where show rules and hall ceiling height allow, a second level converts floor space into private meeting area without giving up your ground-level selling footprint. It is the most efficient use of a large island there is.

We build 10x20 inline exhibits too, and we build them well. This page is about island space, because that is where this show pays off.

What goes into the build

The structure matters. So does everything around it.

Layout designed to your actual booth number

Structural engineering and venue approvals

Hanging sign design, fabrication, and rigging coordination

Large-format tension fabric and SEG graphics

Wash lighting, spot lighting, and integrated fixtures

Flooring, furniture, product display, and storage

Install, on-site support through both expo days, and dismantle

Two floor days — design accordingly

The expo floor is Thursday and Friday, October 15–16.

Two days is not much. An exhibit that takes attendees a beat to understand has already lost a meaningful percentage of its opportunity. We design large islands for immediate legibility: what you do, readable at distance; where to enter, obvious without thinking; and the product itself doing the work rather than a wall of copy nobody reads while walking.

Start with your booth number

Send it over with your square footage. We will come back with a layout built for that specific position on that specific floor.

Frequently asked questions

Global Produce & Floral Show island exhibit planning.

What is the smallest island booth at the Global Produce and Floral Show?

20x20 is the standard entry point for island space at shows of this size. It is also the smallest footprint where the four-sided advantages and hanging sign rights really pay for themselves.

Can I have a hanging sign at the Orange County Convention Center?

Generally yes for island space, subject to show rules and venue rigging approval. Height limits and rigging points must be approved in advance, and rigging labor is ordered through the show contractor. We handle the design, fabrication, and approval paperwork.

Do you build double-deck exhibits for this show?

Yes, where show rules and hall ceiling height permit. Double decks require structural engineering drawings and advance venue approval, which we manage.

How far in advance should I start a large island for October 2026?

Sooner is genuinely better for island space, mainly because of engineering, hanging sign approvals, and graphics production. Send us your booth number and we will give you an honest read on your timeline.

Do you provide drayage or electrical?

No. Material handling and electrical are ordered from the show's general service contractor. We do not bill for either. We do design and pack in a way that keeps your billable weight down.

Can you work with a booth design my agency already created?

Yes. We regularly build to outside design. We will flag anything that will not pass venue approval or will not survive install before you are committed to it.
